Caldwell’s high-quality aluminium folding window openers (also known as over centre cam stays) deliver a flexible, durable, easy-to-use restricted opening and ventilation system for a range of casement configurations, primarily top- and bottom-hung windows usually in non-domestic settings such as schools, hospitals, offices, hotels and more.. Openers can easily be linked in a twos or threes to accommodate virtually any window width. Sometimes called the ‘pork chop’ opener, the design ensures the operating eye stays inside the building even if the window is fully open. This makes it ideally suited to high-level pole operated applications. Hand operation is not recommended with this style of component because fingers could easily become trapped.

• Available in various step sizes and vertical screw centres (see table)
• Gives a sash movement of 150mm except for FO Types 180 & 183 which are 100mm
• Resilient anodised satin silver finish
• It is recommended that Folding openers are positioned between 100 and 200mm from the corner of the sash to ensure system integrity.
• Suitable for use on most timber, PVCu, aluminium, steel and composite windows.
