This rugged locking solution from Glide Hardware is designed to secure the intermediate leaves on a Smarts bi-folding door set in the closed position. The gearbox drives a sturdy 10mm wide shoot bolt from the intermediate door panel at the top and the bottom so it can’t be forced open. This delivers PAS 24 certified security performance that meets Document Q requirements for new builds and brings added peace of mind to homeowners.

The kit includes:

1 x gearbox
1 x black plastic gearbox cover to hide the door lock recess for a clean finish
2 x shoot bolt rods (M10 x 1500mm) with pre-installed end cones which work together with the
2 x profile-related shoot bolt end guides to direct the locking mechanism into place and aid compression
