Window Ware Celebrates Another Successful Year of Fundraising
13 January 2025
Window Ware is celebrating the collective efforts of its team members, who have raised over £1600 for various charities and good causes throughout 2024.
Despite the challenging economic climate, staff have actively participated in a wide range of fundraising initiatives, supporting campaigns such as Red Nose Day for Comic Relief, Macmillan Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, Wear it Pink Day for Breast Cancer now, and the Bedford Starlight Hike in aid of Sue Ryder. The company also extended its support to causes like Kelly’s Heroes and Harry’s Pals, and importantly, rallied to raise funds for essential equipment for former colleague Seb Bousie, who lives with Motor Neurone Disease.
From bake sales and raffles to sponsored walks, every contribution has added up to a significant total, demonstrating the team’s commitment to giving back.
“I’m really proud of the team here at Window Ware,” says Sam Nuckey, Managing Director. “Given the current cost of living, I know that everyone digging deep to contribute, even a little, means so much. It’s not just about the final figure, it’s about the fact that everyone has made a real effort to support others when times are tough for many. That makes me feel incredibly proud and grateful to work alongside such an amazing bunch.”
