Window Ware unveils NEW Regal Hardware Knurled Handles
20 February 2025
As the popularity of heritage aluminium continues to surge, Window Ware is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Regal Hardware range of Knurled Finish Door and Window Handles.
Joining Regal Hardware’s current line-up of monkey tail and pear drop designs, the luxury knurled finish is the latest addition to this high-end hardware collection. Unrivalled in its design, these stylish and versatile knurled handles are the perfect finishing touch for industrial style steel-look doors, a popular choice among discerning homeowners.
Characterised by its sleek, minimalist appearance, the industrial aesthetic is enjoying a resurgence in popularity. This trend is clearly reflected in the increasing use of steel-look internal and external doors, alongside heritage aluminium windows, in both modern and period commercial and residential properties. The timeless elegance of these designs and their ability to maximise natural light make slimline metal installations sought-after features in high-end architecture.
Regal Hardware’s new knurled furniture delivers the premium styling that expertly showcases these in-demand steel-look glazing systems. The distinctive knurled finish on the lever provides an attractive, tactile grip while accentuating the industrial aesthetic.
“Industrial style steel-look doors and windows are hugely popular right now, and we wanted to make sure we had the right hardware to complete the look”, explains Window Ware Product Manager, Rob Vaughan. “This new knurled design from our Regal Hardware range is a real winner. It feels great, looks fantastic, and really nails that sleek, industrial vibe. It's exactly what fabricators need to keep up with what customers want.”
Both the window and the door handles are available in four beautiful finishes: PVD Black, Antique Bronze, Smooth Satin Silver, and Gun Metal, with the distinctive knurled finish running throughout for a matching, unified look. The whole range has been rigorously cycle- and salt-spray tested to ensure dependable service life and corrosion resistance.
As with the existing Regal Hardware range, display boards and brochures are available to help customers discover the range and personalise their windows and doors.
With versatility in mind, a choice of standard (included) or additional spindle packs accommodates a wide range of composite, timber, aluminium and metal doors between 44mm and 90mm thick. A sprung lever and euro cylinder support ensures industry standard application, while PAS 24 compliance satisfies security-conscious buyers.
Likewise, the window handle is equally flexible. Suitable for most window profile systems, its inline design simplifies fitting and reduces inventory. For added peace of mind, the window handle also features key locking for enhanced security.
Rob concludes, "This new knurled design makes a fantastic addition to the Regal Hardware family. It builds on the brand’s long-standing reputation for premium quality and classic design, while also looking firmly towards the future of door hardware. Because design trends are constantly evolving, so it isn’t just about creating stylish handles for today; it’s about anticipating what our customers will need tomorrow and providing hardware solutions that not only meet current demands but also offer lasting style and quality that stands the test of time.”
