Part of the Yale Vertex^TM vertical sliding hardware solution, these tilt latches (or guide catches) are fitted to the top rail on either side of the vertical sliding sash. Used with a sash knob (sold separately), the latch can be retracted and released into tilt mode during cleaning. When engaged, the latch helps to secure the sliding sash in the upright position, as well as guide the sliding mechanism for smooth operation.
