Phil celebrates 25 years at Window Ware

They say good things come in threes and Window Ware has just celebrated its third member of staff to reach their impressive 25-year long-service milestone.

This month, it was the turn of Marketing Production Manager, Phil Freeman, who has been an invaluable part of our team for a remarkable quarter of a century!

At a special afternoon presentation held at Window Ware’s Bedford HQ earlier this week, Phil was presented with his well-deserved award by Managing Director, Sam Nuckey. She was joined by all his colleagues and co-workers who were keen to offer Phil their congratulations and extend their thanks and appreciation for his hard work and unfailing support over the years.

Sam says: “Phil has been instrumental in shaping Window Ware’s marketing communications over the years to create the strong brand presence our customers recognise so well today. Nine product catalogues, several website redesigns, and countless brochures later, and Phil is still coming up with new ways to inform and support our customers even better!”

Window Ware Sales and Marketing Director, Sarah Binns, adds, “Phil helped to develop Window Ware’s very first website way back in the 90s when e-commerce was relatively new in the world of fenestration. Fast forward two decades, and we’re still leading the way with our award-winning website which won gold at this year’s SME Bedfordshire Business Awards. Without Phil’s non-stop hard work and dedication, we simply wouldn’t be in the running for accolades like this.”

For Phil, his long tenure at Window Ware has always been about the people. He explains, “As you might expect over the last two and half decades, I’ve seen my fair share of colleagues come and go, and I’ve seen quite a few come back again! In my mind, that proves what a great place Window Ware is to work. And while my role might have evolved over the years, I’ve always been surrounded by a brilliant team who are more than just work colleagues, they are friends.”
