Window Ware website sales hit record high in 2023

More customers than ever before are choosing to use Window Ware’s award-winning website!

We can reveal that our web sales have doubled in the last three years alone. What’s more, we logged record sales for 2023 through our online store. Today, almost 42% of customers order online compared to just over a quarter of customers in 2020, and Window Ware now receives a third of its orders online – a new record.

Online shopping has grown in popularity in recent years, but the pandemic has undoubtedly accelerated that trend. In response to this shift in buyer behaviour, Window Ware launched a new and improved website two years ago to deliver a better visitor experience and make finding what they need faster and easier. That includes everything from product information and resources, stock availability and best price quotations to downloadable product technical specifications, personalised product displays and online marketing support resources.

The website now serves as both an e-commerce site and a highly valuable knowledge base, housing no less than 1,958 free downloadable resources to inform, educate, support, and persuade existing and potential customers better.

In fact, the most popular downloads of 2023 were the Regal Hardware MK2 brochure in first place with 16,359 downloads, Window Ware’s Part F Building Regs summary guide 2022 in second place with 9,619 downloads and the Trojan 3D hinge adjustment guide in third place with 7,307 downloads. This says a lot about the products and the key topics which are attracting the most interest among Window Ware customers.

The new and improved Window Ware website has been winning over judges as well as customers having earned Gold in the Website of the Year category at the 2023 SME Luton and Bedfordshire Business Awards.
